- 今回のリリースでは、アプリケーションの基盤となるテクノロジーを.NET Framework 4.5から4.8にアップグレードしました。
これまでシステムリソースの使用量を抑えるため、この変更は控えさせていただいておりましたが、Microsoftが旧フレームワークのサポートを終了することに伴い、セキュリティと互換性を確保するために、今回のアップグレードは不可欠となりました。

- We're excited to introduce an important security feature: the ability to recover a forgotten PIN via email.
This new recovery option is a logical addition to the PIN code security layer we introduced recently.
For your security, the recovery feature is disabled by default.
You can continue using your PIN as before, or you can enable email recovery in your settings for added convenience.
Please remember that PIN is not the same as password, its a different things.

- New: PIN code (second layer of security):
- New: Added a PIN code feature for securing app startup. This will be the second layer of security for your files located on the secret disk. The PIN protects application access, while the password remains the key for the secret disk itself, providing two distinct layers of security. This is a free function. With the next release we will add an option to recover forgotten PIN code via email.
- Adjusted: Refined the background colors in the common menu for improved visual consistency.
- Improved: Redesigned the common menu (accessed via the "3-dots" icon) to appear as a focused overlay, clearing the window content to minimize distraction and reduce visual clutter.
- Fixed: Resolved an issue where the app icon did not display correctly on the update screen.

- This release improves the tray agent's functionality with a new feature that allows you to quickly close the secret disk when the screen saver starts or Windows is locked.
In other words, if you step away from your computer or close your notebook's lid, the disk can be closed instantly for security.
This function is disabled by default and only works if the tray agent is enabled in the settings.

- 2 New Security Functions
Available for all users.
1. Failed Login Alerts: Get notified if someone enters an incorrect password.
2. Auto-Shutdown Protection: Your computer can automatically shut down after failed login attempt.
Both features can be found in the app’s settings under the "Main" tab, giving you greater privacy and control over your secret disk.

- New function: encryption level selection:
- Encryption Level Selection. You can now select the encryption level to protect files on your secret disk. By default, no encryption is applied. Available options include:
- 1) Weak but extremely fast PkZIP encryption;
- 2) Modern AES encryption (two variants, with the strongest option being slower but highly secure).
- Note: Encryption (and compression) is recommended for SSD disks or if your secret disk contains only a few files. For larger file collections (or HDD disks), enabling these features may take additional time depending on the data size.
- To use this new function click "Preferences" and the select tab "Encryption".
- Improved "Install Later" Behavior. When clicking "Install later" (after detecting a new version), the app will now suppress update notifications for 7 days (previously just 1 hour). This feature is exclusive to the Professional version.
- Minor bug fixes and optimizations.

- New Password Reset Option: You can now reset your password if forgotten. Note: Resetting your password will erase all files on the secret disk - use with caution!
- Based on user feedback, we've refined window borders for a cleaner, more professional look:
- Removed the colored left-side ribbon (reported as distracting).
- Added a subtle colored accent line in the title bar.
- Eliminated the title bar icon to reduce clutter.
- Reduced title bar height from 40px to 30px for a modern, compact feel (aligned with Windows).
- Improved file storage efficiency to save space.
- Dark Theme Enhancement: Adjusted contrast to reduce eye strain - no more harsh white elements.
- Added full Ukrainian language support.
- Removed the "Hide Technical Details Links" setting (user studies showed it was unused).

- Fixed theme-switching issues - the app now correctly follows system light/dark mode settings.

- New function: compression
- New Feature: Compression Level for Secret Disk Container. You can now set a compression level for the container where the secret disk stores its files. Previously, data was stored without compression, but this new feature allows you to save disk space while the secret disk is closed.
- Enhanced Design: Unified Visual Style. We’ve improved the app’s design by adding a visual element on the left side of the window. This update ensures a consistent look and feel across all our applications.
- Progress Bar Improvements for Encryption/Decryption. For users encrypting files stored on the secret disk, the progress bar now accurately reflects the actual progress. During encryption or decryption, it moves from left to right, indicating the amount of data processed. Previously, the progress bar displayed a looping animation without meaningful progress information.
- Bug Fix: Warning Message Text Overflow. We’ve resolved an issue where the text of warning messages could extend beyond the form area, ensuring a cleaner and more user-friendly interface.
